Growing up in DC and attending UMD sounds boring to Marsha, but we think she’s a rock star with the many hats she wears. Aside from being our Office Manager Extraordinaire, Marsha has been married 27 years, raised two grown young men and taught preschool.

Though she never pursued a career with her degrees in urban studies, government and politics, they do provide insight into the political show for which DC provides a front row seat. But things have a way of coming full circle and Marsha’s love of home construction is no exception.

As a kid, she loved to draw floor plans and, in her spare time, she enjoys scoping out construction sites and model homes. She recently survived her own complete home renovation—all while living at home with her family and chocolate lab, Buddy!
