This award-winning interior design for the client’s flagship store is a sexy redesign for retail stores that quickly became the gold standard for the brand.

To attract a wide range of customers, we decided to paint the entire exterior with the company’s signature shade of blue. The interior’s bespoke yet cool vibe is a nod to the city’s roots and industrial flavor.

C-Bite

It’s no secret that the Cookies brand is huge and the “C-bite” logo in particular is widely recognizable. With that in mind, the image works perfectly as a statement piece upon entry on the door hardware.

Additionally, we made the logo a focal point of a unique LED infinity mirror featured opposite the brand’s clothing display.

To give the interior a lounge-like vibe we specified LED tube lights throughout. In doing so, the lighting serves a dual purpose by enhancing a massive column in the center of the room.

We chose to celebrate this column with LED tube lighting in “Cookies Blue”.

My philosophy, says Principal Todd Howard Ezrin, is that you either try and hide a column in a wall and if you can’t then you have to celebrate it.

Moreover, the corporate logo and colors are omnipresent. To align with the Cookies brand, door hardware, lighting and displays were all custom designed.

Fun fact: the idea of marketing cannabis was sparked when Berner was just bud tending at 18 years old. There, he saw how his handcrafted signs helped move products and soon after the Cookies brand was born.

In this design, the enhanced retail space showcases each product for the ultimate customer’s end retail experience. As such, specially designed flower tables and rolling refrigeration units allow for products to be consumed on site.

Celebrity Sighting

Not surprisingly, the grand reopening in January 2022 was well-attended for this Cookies location.

NBA legend Gary Payton and Rap Artist Xzibit were among the celebrities who participated.
